Trian3D Builder 3.0
This major release upgrades Train3D Builder concerning features, stability, user confidence and comfort. The huge development and testing effort that was put into
the new version during the last year is also reflected by the version change from 2.2.7 to 3.0.
Neue Features

 new VBS2 and FBX exporters
multiple tile grids that can intersect for optimal terrain settings in every area
enhanced generation speed and optimized memory usage
additional export formats including OBJ, STL, COLLADA in the basic program
 FACC assignment in libraries
more flexible interpolation for insert borders
new vector tools to populate areas and verify vector data
 new roof types (gable, shed...)
additive/substituive object handling for e.g. MetaFlight
New VBS2 and FBX Export Capabilities

The VBS2 Exporter also abides to the main application's concept of ease of use. The operator simply switches an existing database's export format
to VBS2 and the terrain settings like tile size and texture resolution will automatically be adjusted to the VBS2 constraints.
Geospecific or generic/geotypic texturing may be used and all modifiers for texturing, object placement and generation are supported.
By assigning the new modifier „VBS2 surface“ to vector data new detail texture surfaces with different clutter object layers may be defined in an easy way.
All models are automatically converted into VBS2's .p3d object format and at the same time all p3d objects from the
VBS2 library may be imported and placed in Trian3D Builder. Furthermore the generation of roads from arbitrary vector data is supported.
Converting existing terrains to VBS2 thus is a matter of minutes. The terrain may now be generated and directly loaded into VBS2 without
the need for another processing or conversion step. The generated geographical data like satellite imagery and shape data may also be used in the VBS2 tools.
In a similar way the FBX Exporter enables the user to generate terrains in Autodesk's exchange format FBX as binary or text type.
