Types
Trian3D Builder enables you to generate various types of terrains. Apart from geospecific databases high-quality
geotypic and generic landscapes can be created using novel image processing algorithms.
(see Modul Trian3D Geotypic).
The different terrain types can also be combined using various source data.
Using vector data Trian3D Builder enables you to place objects, RenderToTexture or cut into the terrain mesh.
Thus you can for instance realize forests, streets, rivers or airports with smooth, natural transitions to their surroundings.

Bohemia Interactive VBS2.
As textures you may among others choose between compressed DDS or georeferenced GeoTiff as export format.
Technique
The terrains are organized in tiles and parameterized with attributes like Level of Detail. Using these individual
tile settings high resolution insets can be generated.
Using techniques like LOD and paging, very large and detailed databases can be generated and visualized.
